You can manage Drobo Appsdirectly from Drobo Dashboard on theDrobo Appspage. Specifically, you can:
●Install or uninstall an application
A Mac or Windows PC is required to setup your Drobo. When you click on the Windows or Mac icon, you should be prompted to download the dashboard file. Once Drobo Dashboard discovers the Drobo, it displays on the 'All Drobos' page. If your Dashboard is not discovering your Drobo, please follow the following steps below based on product type: Mac/Windows: If Drobo Dashboard still does not discover the device, reboot the Drobo. Press the power toggle button on the Drobo once to turn it off. Restart the Drobo Dashboard. Windows: Ensure your Windows FIrewall is not blocking DDService; If using 3rd party Firewall or Anti-Virus program, ensure this is not. Drobo Dashboard Management Drobo Dashboard is the single tool to centrally manage all of your Drobos. Drobo Dashboard gives you status as if all of your Drobos were right in front of you by providing you the same status lights and capacity guage that are on the front panel.
●Start or stop an application
Drobo Dashboard.exe or DroboDashboard.exe are the frequent file names to indicate this program's installer. From the developer: Drobo is a USB-based desktop storage solution for managing and accessing multiple hard drives.
●Update the application
●Open the application's interface in order to modify its settings.
Notes:
You need to be logged in as the administrator to perform this action.
Drobo Apps are enabled by default on your Drobo device. If they have been disabled, you must first enable Drobo Apps before you can have access to them in Drobo Dashboard.
You must be connected to the Internet to see the list of Drobo Apps.
1.In Drobo Dashboard, on theAll Drobospage, select the Drobo device..
2.Click theDrobo Appsoption from theNavigationmenu.
TheDrobo Appspage opens, displaying a list of all available Drobo Apps.
Note:
Any unsupported Drobo Apps that you have installed manually from www.drobo.com/droboapps display with a warning symbol, indicating that some support limitations apply.

3.Select an application and do one of the following:
●To install or uninstall the application, click theInstallorUninstallbutton, and follow the directions.
●To start an application that is not running, or to stop an application that is running, click theStartbutton or theStopbutton.
●If an update is available for an application, anupdate warning icon displays. To perform an update, click theUpdatebutton. Follow the directions to update the application.
●To modify the application's settings, select the Config button. This opens a window, enabling you to modify the application settings. Once you close the window, you are returned to the Drobo Apps page.
Note:
Options display only if they are available at the time. For example, if an application has not yet been installed, it will not display an Uninstall button. Also, not all options are available for unsupported Drobo Apps.
